Let me paint a hypothetical moment—one many of us have lived in some form.

A man is working along his fence line on a Saturday morning when his neighbor walks over with a cup of coffee. They talk about weather, fishing, and weekend plans. Then the neighbor says, almost offhand, “You’re a church guy… how do you know any of that Bible stuff is actually true?”

In this moment, fight-or-flight kicks in for many people, and this is the climax of all we have been saying in the series. At the fence, the man is asking for a reason for the hope that is in you; your response is required - this is why you need to know why you believe what you believe.
