- James 2:14-26
- Faith That Lives
Belief must be lived.
James refuses to let us separate what we say we believe from the way we actually live. In James 2:14–26, he confronts the unsettling possibility that a person can claim faith yet possess nothing more than a lifeless confession. “Faith without works is dead” isn’t a slogan — it’s a warning.
This message begins with what genuine faith is not, and presses into James’ challenge: if our belief never becomes obedience, sacrifice, or action, is it truly belief at all? This is a call to examine the evidence of our faith — and to let the gospel move from words to life.
