Under the banner of Grow[th] in our discipleship-as-a-process series, we have understood that Christ (as the vine) is the source of all spiritual growth for all who abide in Him (John 15), and that His word is the soil of growth into which every follower of Christ must sink his or her roots of faith (Col. 2:6-7). From Peter's second letter, we will consider godly character to be the Spirit-produced fruit of growth and spiritual maturity in a believer’s life.
